Pamela L. Cave's Story

Pamela L. Cave, Esquire Family Law Attorney and General Counselor at Law came to be after her husband abandoned her and their five children, leaving her struggling to put food on the table and to provide for her children. As a welfare mother with no resources and young children, she appeared in court over 50 times in an effort to secure child support from her husband. Her frustration with the legal system led her to the reality that the law is not accessible to single parents abandoned by their spouses.

Pamela's frustrations with the system drove her to fight for other men and women in her position. She went to law school, and against all odds, she obtained her law degree and passed the bar. She is currently an attorney with a state legal services office in Fairfax, Virginia.
